EV Meet Up at Vermont Electric Co-op
Johnson, Vt – Owners of electric vehicles and others interested in the technology connected Thursday afternoon at the headquarters of Vermont Electric Co-op to discuss this new transportation option, and enjoy some snacks and giveaways.
“It’s always great to hear firsthand from EV owners about their on-the-ground experience in Vermont with this evolving technology,” said Jake Brown, Energy Services Planner with VEC. “We were excited to get owners and non-owners together, so people could learn from each other and get a real feel for these cars.”
Owners brought a wide variety of all-electric cars, among them a couple of Volvos and Volkswagens, a Chevy Bolt, a Ford Mustang Mach E, two Teslas, a Polestar, a Cadillac, and a Hyundai.
VEC also displayed one of the co-op’s Ford F150 Lightning pickup trucks that’s used daily in the field to serve co-op members.
