New Outage Page Launched

We have updated the online outage map to make it easier and more secure. You can still find the map where you did before - by clicking the “Outages” button on the upper right of the VEC homepage. Once on the outage page, you can search outages by address using the magnifying glass icon on the upper left of the page. You can also see outages, highlighted in yellow, directly on the map, and by clicking on them you can view estimated restoration times. Finally, you can see a list of outages by town by clicking on the arrow on the right of the page where it says “Outages by Area.”

Important note: members can continue to receive personalized outage alerts by signing up for SmartHub and opting in for outage information via text or email.
