In partnership with the state of Vermont, VEC is offering the Affordable Community Renewable Energy Program (ACRE), a no-cost sponsorship in our community solar arrays for VEC members who income-qualify. VEC members who qualify and enroll in this program will receive a $45 bill credit every month on their electric bill for 5 years (60 months). There is no up-front payment or any additional charge to these members.
To be eligible, you must be a residential member of Vermont Electric Co-op and have a total gross household income at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level (based on the number of people in the household).
